I don’t claim to be any kind of expert when it comes to makeup. I am self taught and learned everything I know from a variety of youtube videos and the help of my older sister who now takes advice from me!
Take a glimpse at my Holy Grail Products…
1.) IT Cosmetics / Bye-Bye Undereye Concealer: This Concealer is what gives me the confidence I need to get through the day! I was blessed with genetic undereye bags from my dearest mother which are nearly impossible to cover up. While this product can’t remove the bags, it does a fantastic job making them look non existent. It costs $24 at Sephora and lasts forever!
2.) Benefit Poreless Primer: Definitely by far the best primer I’ve found. Not only does is blur your pores, but it smells amazing and makes your face feel clean. I use it to prime my eyelids for eyeshadow as well! It’s not the cheapest option but again, worth the money and it will last you a long time since you only need a tiny amount for each use. You can find this at Sephora as well for $31.
3.) Anastasia Brow Wiz: My eyebrow game before this was sh*t! I needed that language for emphasis. My apologies. I use the chocolate shade and it works wonders. It will cost you $21 at Sephora. With this brow pencil its best to go for a lighter shade and then re apply as needed. Unless you want that colored in, 2 shades too dark look then be my guest. I prefer my brows to naturally look good. But, each to their own.
4.) Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit: Another Anastasia Beverly Hills product! This brand is pure gold. In fact, I could probably write an entire post about their products alone. This contour kit comes in different tones for your skin type. I use the medium tone. It has 6 cream shades so you can contour effortlessly. I love that they’re cream and not powder, it makes it so much easier to blend! I purchased mine for $40 at Ulta. It was an investment but worth it.
5.) Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner: I’ve been using liquid eyeliner for years now. Waay back before winged eyeliner was a trend. The difference is, now I actually know what i’m doing. (I like to tell myself that, just go along with it.) This eyeliner has a thin felt tip so you can choose whether you want a thick bold cat eye or a thin precise wing. It lasts all day without smudging or fading. AND the best part is, It wipes easily away with a makeup wipe, or face wash. Previous liquid liners can be difficult to remove causing you to scrub around your eyelid which is an extremely delicate place. I love this eyeliner to pieces! I paid $22.00 at Sephora.
