1. Don’t Hit Snoozesnooze

You snooze you lose. You know the rules! lol But seriously. Starting out your day by hitting the snooze button is definitely not setting up for success. I did my research. The body needs time to get itself ready to wake. When you allow yourself to go back to sleep and just keep hitting snooze, the body is confused and goes back to “rest” mode. Each time you wake your preparing to me more and more groggy. Not to mention all the time you’re wasting with sleep between alarms, I mean it’s hardly even restful.

  2. Hydrate your bodywater

Drinking a glass of water each morning has many great health benefits. Drinking water prior to breakfast gives you metabolism a kick start. A fast metabolism means burning calories! So drink up! Water flushes toxins out of your body, so the more the better. Water also purifies the digestive tract which means your food will digest better when you’re hydrated. Everything needs water to function!

  3. Focus On Today

Today is a good day to have a good day. I used to tell myself this all the time. Start every morning off with a deep breath and think about what your plans are for the day. Let go of yesterday and remember not to hold onto any negative energy, because each day is a new day! To avoid worrying about the future, focus on the present. It’s easy to get trapped into the thoughts of the future and or past. You should make it an effort to luxuriate in the moment! Living in the moment makes people happier. It’s facts people.

  4. Get Some Natural Lightlight

Start each day with the Sun. The sun is the earths natural awakening. By opening your shades so that the sunlight comes through your body will naturally feel that it’s time to wake up. (If you wake up at the crack of dawn, god bless you & try to go outside for a few minutes once the sun comes up.)

  5. Stretch

It’s good to start out each morning with a good stretch. Your muscles have been in roughly the same position for hours on end. They need to stretch first to be ready for the day! So while still laying in bed, stretch out your arms and legs. Wiggle your toes. Most importantly don’t forget to smile!

  6. Make Your Bed

Making your bed may be a small accomplishment, but it sets the tone for your entire day. Completing one easy task may lead to more tasks. Besides it’s the little things in life that matter the most. Everyone deserves to crawl into a freshly made bed each night. When your bed is made it automatically encourages you to keep the rest of your bedroom clean. & If you don’t clean the rest of your room, making the bed will overall make your bedroom look 10x better. Trust me.

  7. Exercise

Morning-exercise-on-an-empty-stomach-should-you-do-it-or-not-Working out in the morning is a great way to enhance metabolism. Your body burns more calories after a workout, even when you’re doing nothing. So if you workout in the morning, you will burn more calories as the day goes on regardless of what you’re doing that day. Working out in the morning is a great way to improve physical and mental energy. Now you can replace all of that caffeine with an early morning run.

  8. Listen To Music

Listening to your favorite music will almost always put you in a good mood. That is clear to anyone. But music does other things for our body too. It lowers stress and improves health. Music is healing. Music can be very uplifting in the morning. The right upbeat playlist can improve productivity throughout your entire day! So plug in your headphones and turn it up! (This is not sponsored) However, I highly recommend Spotify for its unique selection of music and playlists categorized by mood. It’s Amazing! Check it out, you can thank me later.
