CONFIDENCE WITHOUT MAKEUP

I will be the first to tell you that without mascara I am not ME. I do not feel cute with bags under my eyes because I decided not to wear concealer. Nor do I want to be walking around like casper the ghost without my bronzer. I am 100% all for makeup. But sometimes it’s nice to feel beautiful in your own natural skin even with the occasional imperfection. These are my tips/tricks to having confidence without makeup. No snapchat filters needed over here girl!

Eyebrows

Groom your eyebrows. Take the time to comb them in the right direction with a spoolie and focus on getting them to grow in thicker so you don’t have to spend time filling them in. The best way to do this? Castor oil! I rub caster oil across both of my eyebrows each night before I go to sleep. It’s a thick, somewhat sticky oil that enhances hair growth. You can use it for your eyelashes too! Just be ready for frequent trips to the threading salon to keep ’em tamed.

Eyelashes

One of the easiest ways to get glamorous looking eyelashes without the use of makeup is eyelash extensions. But the purpose of this post is affordable more natural ways of feeling confident in your own skin… So for that reason, let’s go with plan B. Get your curling wand out! Curl those babies up! You’d be surprised what a little curl of the lash will do for your natural appearance. & Of course for growth, I suggest good ole’ Castor Oil. You can get it on Amazon! Super cheap.

Skin

Your skin is the FACE of your FACE! It’s the most important part. If you’re not taking care of your skin, then even with makeup on it’s not going to look it’s best. The key… MOISTURIZE! I can’t even explain the difference it’s made on my skin just keeping it hydrated. I would opt for an oil free moisturizer with some SPF. It’s a double-win. Oh and another thing to remember… NEVER go to sleep with makeup on your face. Your pores do not need to be clogged for 6-8 hours while you’re deep in slumber. Take the 30 seconds to clear your skin of makeup before hitting the hay! It’s a great habit to get into.

Hair

I’m going to keep this simple, because I always feel like i’m preaching about hair on my blog. My biggest most profound piece of advice for beautiful hair is to apply a hair mask 1-2 per week. I suggest something high in protein to rejuvenate the elasticity of your dry brittle ends. If you have rather healthy hair and are just looking to maintain that, then I would just suggest weekly coconut oil hair masks. If you’re looking to grow out your hair, avoiding medications, check out my recent post Hair Growth Hacks.

So those are my best tips for having confidence without makeup! That’s what I usually do when I know i’m having a relaxing day but I still want to feel beautiful, naturally. I hope you enjoyed this post. As always, please like/share. ♡
