Giving Up Carbs
This is NOT clickbait. This diet ACTUALLY works. You WILL see results. It won’t be easy giving up sugars and carbs. However, once you do, you’ll stop craving them all the time. This little trick is proven to work when wanting to lose weight.

I’m nuts. Carbs are EVERYTHING I love. Pizza, pasta and bread. Literally my favorite foods. Nonetheless, ya girl has a cruise approaching next month and is trying to slim down. The quickest way to burn excess fat is to cut out carbs. It’s science people. Low carbs = lose weight.
If you ever need to lose 10 pounds FAST this is the way. I have already lost 3 pounds and its only been a week. By consuming a high protein, high fat, and low carb diet, your body is forced to burn fat instead of carbohydrates. You start dropping pounds like it’s nothing. Add in a few days at the gym and you’re golden.
This diet is well known and has been around for years. It’s known as the ketogenic diet. To learn more about it, click here to watch a short video explaining it in further detail.
Best foods for the Ketogenic Diet:
- Seafood (Fish, clams, clams, oysters)
- Non starchy vegetables (Broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, asparagus)
- Berries (Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries)
- Chicken (Grilled or baked)
- Plain greek yogurt
- Olive oil
Worst foods for the Ketogenic Diet:
(In no way am I suggesting you never eat another piece of bread, or have a serving of french fries. Just note, that it’s against this diet. There is always room for cheat days.)
- Processed foods
- Artificial sweetners
- Refined fats/oils
- Alcoholic beverages
- Tropical fruit (Mangoes, pineapples, bananas)
