Let me start off by saying this post is not sponsored by Target. But it would be pretty cool if it was. Target, if you’re reading this sponsor me plz!? I love you!!! No? Ok… I still love you though. Keep on reading to discover some amazing holiday decor that you can pick up at none other than your local Target.
Personally, I prefer a real Christmas tree. Which by the way, if you’re following me on Instagram, then you’ve probably seen ours came from Boone, North Carolina this year. If you would rather not have to remember to water it and pick up the occasional pine needles, an artificial tree is probably the way to go. Luckily, Target has all of them for 30% right now. They have a huge selection from tiny four foot trees all the way up to nine feet, if you have high ceilings. Some of the trees are pre-lit…it really doesn’t get any easier than that.
What’s a Christmas tree without any ornaments? I found so many cute ornaments this year at Target. They even have ornament packs of four ornaments for only $12! Some of my favorites are on the end caps in the holiday section. They’re unique and make a statement on any Christmas tree. If you order online from their Wondershop brand you can personalize your own ornaments. I love this idea! It’s perfect to remember your first Christmas with your boyfriend/girlfriend or your babies first Christmas too! Anything that can be personalized is a yes in my book.
Before I lived in Florida, hanging stockings above the fireplace was a very special holiday tradition. Here in Florida, we hang our stockings on a “stocking hanger”. Which are actually still really cute, if you can get past it. Target has a variety of stockings, stocking hangers, and stocking stuffers! Everything you need all in one place. I love the simple look of plaid stockings. The rustic farmhouse look is really in style right now and Target is very much in on it.
The best part of this time of year is driving around looking at everyone’s Christmas lights. I was thrilled to see Target’s wide selection of outdoor decor. They have tons of wreaths, outdoor LED lights in every color imaginable, light-up holiday inflatables and figurines, and illuminated spiral trees. I’ve always admired the glow of those spiral trees, so I bought Chad and I a six foot multicolored spiral tree with a bright star on top. It’s beautiful and luckily it was on sale! It’s a Christmas miracle! lol. I really did just say that.
I feel like such an adult getting so excited about things like this. Oh how the times have changed. I don’t even care though… the enjoyment that comes from decorating your house for the holidays is just as magical as being a child on Christmas Eve! I love shopping for other people too. The real challenge is holding onto those gifts until Christmas day. I hope you enjoyed reading this and maybe it’s inspired you to get into the Christmas spirit yourself. Get yourself a peppermint mocha from Starbucks and get your shop on! Checkout my last post here.
